Hi, Patlans and Fearings! We're so glad that you're headed back, and grateful that you let us be vicarious travelers with you! I sort of spaced out checking your website until I got the friendly Cristine reminder today. You guys rock in the Rockies! What beautiful photos! It looks like much fun (and learning) has been had by all. I loved the shots of the Timberline, especially, having waitressed at another great, western hotel -- the Stanley (in Estes Park) -- where King was inspired to write the Shining, based on actual Stanley legend. So, if you can fit it in, it'd be worth swinging by Estes Park, CO, to complete your understanding of that creepy story! Meanwhile, travel safely, play fun car games, and come play with us when you're back!
