Cleveland ROCKS!
After a fun few days of E. Lansing hanging with friends and visiting the home of the Spartan’s we said a sad farewell.
Unbeknownst to us the Blue Angels were performing at an air show on Lake Erie. We enjoyed the beautiful day along the lake and were awed by the show of Top Gun pilots. We saw a variety of nerve racking maneuvers and stunts that got us on our feet cheering. On one pass a pilot flew so low we saw him in his cockpit!
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame was awesome! John Lennon’s Yamaha piano, not a grand piano, was an inspiration to me. Michael Jackson’s glove from “Billie Jean” was too sparkly. Seeing the timeline of music and the inductee movie was cool.
Different artists were inspired by different genres of music. The different styles of music gave them ideas for their own music. For example, a Rock and Roll band inspired Madonna. A new favorite hard rock song is “Enter Sandman” by Metallica.
I bought a t-shirt that say’s “If it’s too loud then you are too old” ~ Sabrina
I liked Elvis Presley’s guitar and jacket. Pete Townsend’s guitar was awesome. It was very fancy with designs. I liked Michael Jackson’s suit from Thriller, the mask and ripped jacket. ZZ Tops drum set were very furry and white. It was one of my favorite instruments that I saw.
I liked watching the movie of the Rock and Roll musicians and I knew some of the songs.
I bought a pair of super cool drumsticks. ~ Gabriel
I liked seeing the Blue Angels and all of their tricks in the sky.
At the museum I liked seeing Madonna’s dresses, especially the sparkly ones. I liked seeing the Beatles stuff, where they went and all of the pictures. I also liked seeing the Hall of Fame Inductees, especially the ones from the year I was born, Simon & Garfunkel who sing “Cecilia”.
I bought a pin to put on my Girl Scout vest that says “Peace, Love and Rock & Roll” Next time I want to see the Jonas
Brothers~ Cecilia
